Our Mission
Delivering expert hands wherever industrial automation requires them.
Boltronic exists to give System Integrators and manufacturers the flexible, overhead-free support they need with professionals who show up ready to work, trained in real System Integration environments, backed by a partner they can trust.
We remove the staffing burden from integrators; the hiring, the firing, the bench-time guilt so they can focus on delivering great automation work.
Our Story
Boltronic Services is now an international network of highly skilled field engineers and technicians supporting system integrators and machine builders in the most critical phases of their automation projects from mechanical assembly and controls programming to onsite installation, commissioning, and final startup.
But the company’s story began more than a decade ago, when its founder, Sergio Padilla, decided to combine his technical background with a global vision for the future of industrial automation.
Early Beginnings
Boltronic’s roots trace back to 2011–2012, when Sergio, a Mechatronics Engineer specialized in PLC programming and FANUC robotics, launched a small integration business focused on automation projects for the automotive sector—assembly stations, fixtures, and production line modifications.
The company had a different name at the time, but the mission was the same:
Solve complex technical problems and support manufacturers in improving or integrating their production lines.
In those early years, Boltronic concentrated on controls programming, palletizing systems, pick and place applications, and small custom machinery. The turning point came when Alliance Automation from Ohio sent a roof assembly line to Mexico and trusted Sergio to handle the installation, debug, PLC logic updates, robot touch ups, and HMI translation from English to Spanish.
The project was a technical success—but more importantly, it exposed a clear industry pattern:
OEMs and integrators outside of México needed reliable, skilled local support for commissioning, adjustments, and post- installation service.
This realization became the foundation of what would later become Boltronic.
The Expansion That Changed Everything
During the pandemic, Mexico experienced a slowdown in the automotive industry.
Meanwhile, the United States faced a surge in demand for automation—paired with a severe shortage of skilled technical labor. Boltronic saw the opportunity and moved decisively.
The company built the legal, operational, and compliance structure required to deploy engineers into the United States. Soon, Boltronic was placing field technicians in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio to support integrators during mechanical assembly, wiring, controls programming, and final commissioning.
The model—built around highly skilled Mexican talent, strong work ethic, and long term customer partnerships—proved extremely effective. Growth accelerated. More clients came on board. More states opened opportunities.
Today, Boltronic has operated in more than seven U.S. states and maintains formal offices in South Carolina and Detroit, strengthening its presence across the Midwest and East Coast.
A Truly Global Operation
The years 2024–2025 have been the most global in Boltronic’s history. The company has deployed engineers to over 12 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, supporting machine builders and integrators.
Boltronic does not limit itself geographically:
If a country or state allows legal work entry and the logistics make sense, Boltronic can deploy a team.
Origin of the Name
The brand Boltronic, adopted in 2022, merges two concepts:
Representing energy, speed, accuracy, and action.
Inspired by electronics, automation, and the futuristic spirit of Tron.
Together, they reflect the core identity of the company: fast, precise, and intelligent technology that keeps manufacturing moving forward.
